Maggie Grace is an American actress who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character in ABC's Lost series, and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. She was born in Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of school when her parents divorced to go into Los Angeles to live with her mother. While struggling financially she landed her first role as the title character in the web-based video series Rachel's Room in 2001. In 2002 she was nominated for an Young Artist Award with her part as the 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford, a role she played in Lost between 2004 and 2005, was selected for a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace has worked alongside Tom Welling on The Fog in the year 2005, wanted to move into film. She was in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 and Taken (2008) opposite Liam Neeson. The same character was played by Grace on Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both in 2012). Grace reprised the role as Shannon in two episodes of Lost as well as the show's finale. The year was 2013, and she appeared in the sixth episode of Californication.
